A brief biography

I am a Research Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C. I did my PhD at the Department of Economics in Pittsburgh, PA. I have also held positions at the CentER for Economic Research in Holland, the US International Trade Commission in Washington DC, the Department of Economics in St. Andrews, Scotland and Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation in Coventry, England. My research interests include international trade theory, labor theory and industrial organization. Most recently I have been doing work on dumping policy and labor economics.
The Chinese seal on my main page is my "chop" which is a carving of the traditional way that the characters from my name are written (from right to left and top to bottom). If you click on it, you can learn something about the origin of my name.
